updated and very thankful

its now 2pm .sargent being hit around 7 or 8am .i’m not sure on that .it wasn’t really a priority to know .so far he seems to be doing good .he’s laying here at my feet as i type this .the cut near his eye has clotted and when i press on his gums the color returns quickly indicting that there is good blood pressure and not other uncontrolled internal bleeding .i hate him being in pain but i’m not going to give him aspirin cause if he does happen to have some or any internal injuries the aspirin will only thin his blood making clotting near impossible .so i guess the only thing we can do is wake him up every hour or so for the next 24 hours making sure he doesn’t go into a coma

he has been such a good dog for the past 12 years or so .he might be up in age but he has tons of spunk left in him .or he did .i hope none of his spunk got knocked loosed .i suppose all we can do is wait it out and hope he is ok

so its been about 5 days now since sargent was hit by the truck .he seems to be improving everyday .getting back to his normal sweet disposition .I’m so thankful he’s alright
