1oz. shy of a pound

15 ounces .that's how much hair i cut off my dog this afternoon .it usually takes me about 4-5 hours to cut his hair but this time it only took 3 and a half .so i was at least happy about that .i don't know why it takes me so long .maybe its cause i'm i like to make it as close to perfect as i can .or perhaps its cause i've never been trained to cut dogs hair .i really can't wait till i'm able to afford a professional cause sitting on a tile floor for 4-5 hours does a number on my back .well my legs and whole body too

don't get me wrong .i love my dog like a child .well as much as i assume i will love my kids .but holy hell is it a chore to cut his hair .he's a half and half .half american eskimo and half lhasa apso .thankfully he more resembles his father (the american eskimo) then his mother .nothing against the people who like that breed of dogs .but damn they are ugly dogs

anyway my dog's name is cow .when he was a puppy one of my nieces said "he looks like a little cow" (which he did) .i liked the name and so i kept it .hes black and white like a holstein cow .i love him so much i hate when we have to evacuate for hurricanes cause we go to one of my uncles homes in austin .and he has to stay outside .he yelps and whines .that's not the only reason i hate it .i find it hard to fall asleep if hes not in my bed laying up against my back
