in need of a driving lesson

people in louisiana don’t seem to have any clue as to how to drive .in the town called marksville the lights had been set to flashing yellow on the main road and flashing red on the side streets .sounds ok .but the people on the main road were all stopping treating the flashing yellow as a stop sign or as if they were flashing red .i really didn’t understand it .so when my dad got to the light he just went .legally it was ok but a car on the side street honked and the driver looked rather perturbed thinking it was his turn to go .a few flashing yellow lights later (some we stopped at and some we didn’t) there was a truck on the side road thinking it was his turn to go and my dad only having a flashing yellow went and the driver of the truck slammed on his breaks .looked really angry and honked .after my dad passed threw the intersection the truck speed up and whipped around us still angry
