another thing i hate

hurricanes .all they do is cause destruction .misplace hundreds and cause kanye west to make silly comments about george bush .so its 1:20pm and there's an issued voluntary evacuation .tomorrow will be a mandatory evac. yet you don't really have to leave if you don't want to .but i guess they call it mandatory to urge you to

.i'm not looking forward to having to leave .i like my home ,i like my room ,and i love my bed (tempur pedic .and yes its as awesome as it looks) .my mom is being rather funny though .running around here like a mad woman .she seems pretty angry too .i'm not sure why but shes washed all the bedding in the house and wants to leave the beds made .maybe if gustav is welcomed to a clean nicely made bed he won't pummel us unmercifully? .never sure on here reasoning but over the past 23 yrs of it's easier not to question and just let her be

my dad on the other hand is frustrated .his "things" have to be protected .he owns an 8,000 sq. foot building and its packed with junk .he is a pack rat minus the tail and whiskers .only leaving little pathways that meander threw so you must contort your body and be very mindful of where you step .here at the house isn't to much better .my mom of coarse hates his junk piled up and shes yells and he yells and then takes some of the stuff away for a while .only for it all to happen again .right now he's in his office slowly bagging all his "important" stuff

.he thinks we should leave tomorrow morning but my mom and i think it should be today or tonight cause every one else is going to be leaving and has been leaving and traffic is going to be a nightmare .in 2005 when we left do to hurricane rita (the other storm of that year) which effected more people but isn't hardly talked about cause of "the poor people of new orleans" .we sat in traffic for 12 hours .going to austin which is only 5 hours away .not looking forward to endure anything like that again

the only plus is we're heading to austin again and we get to see my uncles and cousins and have some fun and hopefully keep our mind off the horror approaching here .well i'm being summed to help finish getting ready to leave .i hope all effected by gustav are able to pull threw unscathed
